Spring Bird

Just in time for spring, we will create a sun and bird on a branch using collage. We will be painting collage fodder and using vintage paper and magazines, including acrylic paint and paint pens for the details. Each student will have the freedom to add their own sentiment, making each bird a unique creation!

Modern Floral Bouquet

We will paint this fun modern floral using bright acrylic paint colors and paint pens. Students will have creative freedom on choice of colors. We will also be painting on a black canvas to give your painting a modern touch! Perfect class to paint with a loved one or friend. Just in time for Mother’s Day! Light refreshments and tea will be served.

HOMESCHOOL ART (FRIDAY CLASSES) - Dana Leonard

Students will build a strong art education foundation, through a large 

variety of mediums and techniques. Participants will learn about basic 

art design principles, as well as be exposed to iconic artists and cultural styles. 

*Creativity is a messy process. Students should dress appropriately.* 

Fee: $10 per student, per lesson

Meet our Homeschool Art instructor.

Dana Leonard received a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Ohio University in Art Education. She taught Art at various Troy City Schools for 6 years, until her first child was born in 2012. Dana is a homeschool mom of three children: ages 14, 12, & 8. She has been teaching private art lessons and homeschool co-op art classes for the past 10 years. In her limited spare time, Dana Leonard loves to paint.
