Formerly the home of Mary Jane Hayner, the 1914 Romanesque mansion houses a lively community arts center. Classes in art and a variety of other subjects are offered for adults and children. Year-round exhibits and musical concerts are offered free of charge. Make the Hayner part of your family traditions with holiday and special events throughout the year. Plan a visit to discover historic furnishings, works of art, a Victorian doll house and a permanent exhibition of the historic Pre-Prohibition Hayner Distillery Company. The facilities of the center are available for public use for meetings, parties and community events. There is no admission fee to visit the center or its exhibits and most musical and family events are free and open to the public.
We are striving to provide a safe environment for all of our guests, volunteers and staff by following the directives provided to us by the Governor of Ohio and the local Miami County Health Department. Therefore, masks, hand sanitizing and social distancing are required for all Hayner guests, volunteers and staff. If you are bringing a group of 10 or more to visit the house, we kindly request that you call ahead to make a reservation so that we can accommodate your group. Our goal to provide a most safe and enjoyable visit to the Hayner for everyone, so thank you for understanding and following guidelines. We hope to see you very soon at the Hayner... take care and be safe! David Wion, Director Troy-Hayner Cultural Center
