Food Truck Vendor Requirements & Deadlines


To participate as a food vendor at the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center, please ensure you complete the following steps. Meeting these requirements ensures compliance with the City of Troy mobile food vehicle regulations.


Deadline for completion: February 28, 2026

  • Step 1: Application Form – Complete and submit the form found below.
  • Step 2: Permit Fee – Pay the required vendor participation fee.
  • Step 3: Insurance Coverage – Provide proof of secondary insurance (General Liability) with limits of at least $1,000,000.
  • Step 4: City Licensing – Obtain your City of Troy Mobile Food Vehicle Vending License and any required Ohio Department of Health permits.

   Load-In should occur before 10 am and Load-out should occur before 5 pm and after 7:00 or after the last set has finished.

4. All Food vendors ARE REQUIRED to provide evidence of Commercial General Liability insurance in the amount of $1 million per occurrence with the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center as the certificate holder. CLICK HERE FOR CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE INFORMATION

5. I understand that it is my responsibility to discover and comply with all federal, state, county and city regulations including The City of Troy background check for all food vendors. This background check is mandatory and is called, "Mobile Food Vehicle Vending License." This costs $25.00 and requires several weeks turnaround time. INDEMNITY AGREEMENT: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Representative (you, on behalf of your business, workers, volunteers and/or any subcontractors) agree to save harmless and defend the indemnified parties, the employees, the Board of Governors, the volunteers of  Troy-Hayner Cultural Center, The Friends of The Hayner,  The Troy City School System, The City of Troy, Ohio, from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, fines, causes of action suits and liability of every kind including court costs and attorneys’ fees for injury to or death of any person, for damage to any property, for loss of business, for consequential damages and all other damages (collectively, “damages”) arising out of or in connection with this event.
