Who should I speak to about booking the Hayner?
The Assistant Director, Rachael Boezi will walk you through the necessary steps for booking your event at the Hayner. You are always welcome to visit the Hayner during regular open house but it is a kindness to call ahead for an appointment to make sure she is available when you are.

Can I visit the house to see the rooms?
Yes! You are always welcome to visit the house during open house as long as it has not been booked for a private event. There is no admission fee to visit the house and the exhibits. Please call ahead for an appointment if you wish to arrange a time with the Assistant Director. We will make sure that you can see the rooms while they are not booked for another party.

Are you handicapped accessible?
Yes, there is a chairlift at the west entrance into the house and an elevator for access to the second and third floors. Please review our webpage with info and specs about accessibility at the Hayner.
Who will set tables and chairs?
Our maintenance staff will set-up the tables and chairs up per your agreement and remove then after the event as well.
Is there staff on-site during my event?
Yes, a receptionist will be on duty to open and close the building, offer directions to your guests and to help answer any questions you may have during your event.
Where can we park?
Our visitor parking lot is located on Water Street directly behind the center. Unlimited, street parking is available on Main, Monroe, Water Streets and one block south on Franklin Street. Please do not park in the Library lot.
What items are available for use?
TV with DVD, a podium, an LCD digital projector, pull-out screen and microphones are available without a fee, please inquire.
How many guests can you accommodate?
Our facility can accommodate groups from two to 75 (depending on room arrangements.) Several rooms are ideal for small meetings.
Are kitchen facilities available at Hayner?
Yes, kitchen facilities are available, please inquire. Any caterer is welcome.
