2021 Recordings
David Wion is the director of the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center and Rachael Boezi is the Assistant Director but there is so much more than administrative work happening at the Hayner this spring. David is a gifted pianist and Rachael Boezi is outstanding mezzo soprano. The good news for Troy, Ohio is that these two co-workers are putting together a special concert of hits from the Broadway stage and Silver Screen. Both musicians are inspired by all the gorgeous glitter, glamour and shine that surrounds our American Divas. After a long winter of debate the two have agreed that Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand will be the theme of the concert. Enjoy many of your favorites like I’ll Be Seeing You, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, The Way We Were, Embraceable You, Someone to Watch Over Me, Send in the Clowns. We won’t tell, if you sing along with Rachael, as loud as you can. No one will mind! Join us May 1, 2021 at Troy-Hayner.org/recorded-concerts for this fun nugget of sparkling song. TUTTI SOLISTI - Hayner’s Drawing Room Chamber Concert season finale will feature the international chamber group, Tutti Solisti. Tutti Solisti is an Italian phrase which means, “a collection of soloists”. Each performer in the group is a soloist in their own right and takes the lead at some point in the performance. Our musicians are Miriam Kramer on violin, Deborah Kramer Netanel on cello and Steven Aldredge on piano. Click the banner above to join this concert.
Piano duo is a unique piano style accomplished with four hands on the keys. The pianists are a husband and wife team, Aaron Mood and Dr. Samee Griffith. Besides being incredibly talented, both are owners and instructors at Star City Music Studio, a music school in Miamisburg, Ohio. With all the uncertainty we decided to record and live-feed our Lucky Lemonade Concert of the season.
