Fridays on Prouty concerts are a collaboration between the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center and Troy Main Street with the help of the City of Troy. with the Cincinnati Transit Authority

The CTA is an eight-piece band paying tribute to the great horn driven sound of Chicago Transit Authority. Originating in Cincinnati, Ohio, the band consists of some of the area's best rock, jazz, and blues musicians. The group takes great pride in performing spot-on renditions of iconic Chicago tunes. The band's replication and dedication to the music make CTA one of the top Chicago tribute bands performing now.
Expect to hear all the great hits including “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?”, “Make Me Smile”, “Beginnings”, “Hard Habit To Break”, “Questions 67 & 68”, “Saturday In The Park”, “25 or 6 to 4”, “We Can Stop The Hurtin'”, “Introduction”, “Wake up Sunshine”, and many more.
Rick Auhagen does the lead vocals, Michael Oakley is on guitar, Adam Wheeler is on drums, bass guitar is Adam Scovanner, keys are Larry Feldner, Zach Grainger plays trombone, Erich Lechliter the trumpet and Dwayne Irvin plays saxophone and flute.

Fridays on Prouty will be hosting a great big happy salsa band called Dayton Salsa Project on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 7:30 pm. This eleven-piece band has trumpet, trombone, 2 saxophones, timbales, bongos, congas and keys. The Dayton Salsa Project sees their mission as using music to help break down barriers and to promote inclusion by showcasing how musicians from diverse traditions and cultural backgrounds can get together in one accord. They say that they aim to become ambassadors of the Dayton area's diverse community, modeling the values of cultural diversity and inclusion, and sharing the rich history of Salsa at local, state, and national cultural events and to celebrate the diversity and musicality of Salsa by performing popular classics from the 1970’s and 80’s.

Back by popular demand, The Noah Wotherspoon Band will include Noah Wotherspoon, guitar; Tom Rastikis, bass; Brian Aylor, drums; Da’Rosa Richardson, keyboards; Danny Manning, alto sax; Eric Wurzelbacher, tenor sax and Charlie Ferrara on trumpet.
Noah Wotherspoon is an exceptional guitarist who revealed talents by the age of 11. As a young teenager he had his own band called Noah and the Stratocats, who won a spot on the prestigious Chicago Blues Fest stage when he was just 16. The Stratocats played the Chicago Blues Fest for the next eight years. In 2015 Noah received the Albert King award for Best Guitarist at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. Wotherspoon started as a kid from Dayton, Ohio who had an affinity for the guitar, but he soon found himself touring America and performing at the world’s Blues Festivals. He has toured Eastern Europe many times and was the headliner at the Reykjavik Blues Festival in Iceland and the Salva Jazz & Blues Festival in Salvatierry, Mexico.
Wotherspoon has followed and experimented with a variety of genres in his 20+ year career. It is blues rock that has ultimately captivated him. “Every note Wotherspoon plays demonstrates his command of the blues musical style. His guitar solos are dripping with unadulterated emotion, capturing listeners, and transporting them to the heart of the blues. Wotherspoon's love for the genre is evident in every performance, whether he is singing gritted, fervent lyrics or creating beautiful guitar melodies,” says Viberate Music.

Michelle Robinson is a Nashville Recording Artist and Cincinnati, Ohio native. She has been singing and playing music for as long as she can remember. Michelle is a Josie Award WINNER for Female Modern Country Artist of the Year (2023) and was nominated for Cincinnati’s Country Entertainer of the year (2019). They have opened for a number of national acts including Scotty McCreery, Maddie & Tae, Colt Ford, Uncle Kracker, Loretta Lynn, JoDee Messina and Kentucky Headhunters.
