Film Series

Spend a Friday night watching classic movies in the ballroom at cafe style tables with free popcorn and soda pop.
Each film will have a short introduction to celebrate its place in movie history.

 Big                  April 9th

On Friday, April 9th at 7:30 pm, the Hayner Center will show the 1988 Oscar nominated film, Big. In order to guarantee social distancing, pre-registration is necessary. Please call Leona at (937) 339-0457 to pre-register. Facial coverings are required in the Hayner Center.
 
Big is a rated PG Comedy, Drama, Fantasy film starring Tom Hanks and Elizabeth Perkins. Penny Marshall directed this film that was written by Gary Ross and Anne Spielberg. Thirteen-year-old Josh Baskin makes a wish to be “big” at a carnival. The next morning, Josh wakes up in the body of an adult (Tom Hanks). While Josh waits for the opportunity to return to his carefree youth, he must take on the adult responsibilities of a job and grown-up relationships.
