Troy-Hayner Cultural Center Class Policies
**Please Read**

Thank you for choosing to enroll in a class at the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center. We hope that you enjoy your time with us and that the class will meet, and exceed, your expectations. Whether this is your first class, or you are a returning student, we want to remind you of the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center class policies. It is our goal to provide a safe & welcoming environment for all class participants, so thank-you for helping us achieve this goal by following the class policies.
1.  The Hayner is owned by the Troy City Schools and therefore you are on School property which prohibits the following:
     a.  Smoking - Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the Hayner property. If you choose to smoke, you must do so on the street sidewalks.
     b.  Firearms - Firearms of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the Hayner property.  Individuals with CCW permits may keep firearms locked in the trunk of
their car which is parked in a Hayner lot, but you cannot carry on Hayner property.
2.  Clean-up your workspace at the end of class, including any Hayner tools you might have used, such as: paint brushes, easels, pottery wheel etc. Please leave the
work area and room as clean as you found it upon arrival. If you bring your own tools, please take them with you at the end of each class session. If you use a
Hayner tool, please leave it where you found it.
3.  Any additional use, other than scheduled class time, of the Art Studio or Pottery Studio, must be scheduled with the Instructor and at the convenience of the
Hayner and Instructor. Your Instructor must be present with you during any additional use of the Studios.
4.  Upon completion of the class term, please take all of your artwork and personal supplies with you.  Should it be necessary to leave a piece of art for drying or
firing purposes etc., please schedule a time that the instructor can meet you at Hayner for pick-up.
5.  Registration and payment must be received a minimum of two weeks prior to class start date. If you are registering within two weeks of start date, please check
with Leona Sargent #937.339.0457 for availability and payment. All classes must be paid for, in full, prior to starting the class.
CLASS FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, unless the class is cancelled by the instructor or Troy-Hayner Cultural Center.
6.  Sitting in the class with a friend, parent, child etc. is not permitted. If you are attending the class, you must register and pay for the class.
7.  We are striving to provide a safe environment for all of our guests, volunteers and staff by following the directives provided to us by the Governor of Ohio and the
