Musicians will travel from all over the state to participate on your porches. Many porches had thoughtful snacks and refreshments to enrich the experience of our generous musicians.
All applications will be reviewed as quickly as possible. We will connect with you within a week or so to set up a time to review your ideas for a stage location and talk over other details with you. Your Neighborhood Manager will help you, your musicians and your audience have a great Troy, Ohio PorchFest experience.
Once your application is accepted, we will ask you to review our musicians and bands that have applied for PorchFest. Musicians will not know who is reviewing them. Once you choose a band, you will be asked to connect with your musicians and make sure they know who you are, where you are, how to reach you, where they will park, etc.
We will send you a confirmation that we have received your application within 24 working hours.

First we will ask you to read our Indemnity Agreement:
Indemnity: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Representative (you, on behalf of your household and any subcontractors) agrees to save harmless and defend the indemnified parties including the employees, Board of Governors, volunteers of the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center, The Friends of the Hayner, The Troy City School System, the City of Troy, the band providing music for you, the band's helpers, from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, fines, causes of action suits and liability of every kind including court costs and attorneys’ fees for injury to or death of any person for damage to any property, for loss of business, for consequential damages and all other damages (collectively, “damages”) arising out of or in connection with this event.
Tent Safety: All tents must be staked or appropriately weighted. There is an important safety issue with the use of tents. Even if the tent is on your own property the committee asks that you protect the musicians and guests by preventing your tent from taking flight and causing injury and bodily harm. Tents have taken flight at this festival in the past and it is important to prevent this unnecessary danger. Please contact your Neighborhood Manager or Terrilynn at the Hayner if you need assistance or information about securing your tent. We are happy to help.
