The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center and the Troy, Ohio PorchFest committee are pleased to announce that we will be expanding our Tent Village for the 2020 Festival on September 12, 2020. The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center, Troy Main Street and the Miami County Visitors Bureau have been working hard to make this a good experience for our Tent Village businesses. We found that the 2019 Festival was very profitable and great exposure for our Artisan vendors. Most booths reported record sales with an estimated one thousand happy visitors. What we found though, was that our visitors and out-of-town guests did not seem to venture into our downtown area and get to know our storefronts.
What we hope to do this year is bring the downtown atmosphere to our visitors. We are encouraging you to join our efforts to show off our lovely downtown by setting up a Tent Village storefront to represent your business to the festival goers. The Tent Village will put your business in front of a potential thousand in-town and out-of-town visitors that are looking for fun things to do on weekends at interesting locations. We hope this is a group of people you want to connect with.
The booth fee is just $25.00. No percentage of sales will be required. You will need (approximately) a 10’ x 10’ tent and good signage. A nice piece of half-sheet or quarter-sheet marketing is a good idea so your visitors will have something to carry away with them to help them find your store and plan an afternoon trip to our lovely downtown Troy, Ohio.
