Performing Arts
The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center presents a variety of performing arts programs
throughout the year. An average of twenty-five performing arts events are offered
each year free and open to the public. A series of theatrical, cultural or musical
programs are presented for children and their families. In the Summer, concerts are
held (weather permitting) in the outdoor courtyard. The Hayner also collaborates
with Troy Main Street and The Troy Foundation in presenting music on Troy's
Prouty Plaza during the Summer months. Diverse styles of music including Classical,
folk, jazz, blues and ethnic music are offered by both professional touring artists and
local musicians. Theatre, dance and unique cultural entertainment are presented
periodically as well.
Due to the support of the local tax levy, the following events are presented
free and open to the public.
