General Art
Home school art classes organize in September and continue through the school year. Instructor Dawn Flory, will help students build a strong art foundation by teaching basic art and design principles and exposing students to art history, famous artists and different art styles. Children, ages 5-9 years old and ages 10 through high school, with or without previous art experience, will create both 2 and 3 dimensional projects using a large variety of supplies and media. Classes may include, but are not limited to drawing, painting, sculpture, pastels, paper maché, clay, batik, collage, quilling and print making.
A schedule of the Friday classes through May 21 is available below, and the listing of fall classes will be available for download some time in August. You can also contact the Hayner at 339-0457 to have a copy mailed to you. Let your child’s artistic side flourish with friendly age-appropriate lessons and a well-balanced program.
