“Collectible Ephemera” with Jerry Stichter
How Do You Spell Ephemera? P-A-P-E-R! Most of us are aware of autographs and first edition books, but what other paper items do you have that may have value? Elizabeth Taylor & Richard Burton are on the cover of the April 13, 1962, Life magazine, but inside of a mint copy is an ad for Post Cereal with baseball cards of Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris. Stamps may come to mind, but the Halloween illustration on the obverse side will be the item of interest. Letterhead stationary, trade cards, advertising and true photo postcards are just a few items of ephemera that are hidden in our homes that may have greater value than one can imagination. Troy Auctioneer, Jerry Stichter invites us to explore the hidden treasures in our desks, closets, trunks & shoe boxes.
