- Stephen Quiller standard palette (plastic)
- Watercolors in tubes (15 ml size) are listed on the paper insert that comes with the Quiller palette.
á Quiller 12 color set and 4 extra colors: New Gamboge (WN), Burnt Sienna (WN), Opera (H), & Cobalt Blue (WN)
á or Substitute the 12 colors with colors listed below
1. Permanent Green Light (MB)
2. Winsor Green (WN)
3. Green Blue Turquoise (MB)
4. Peacock Blue (H) (or MaimeriBlu ÒPrimary Blue CyanÓ—highly transparent)
5. French Ultramarine Blue (WN) (and/or Indanthrene Blue, PB 60, Quiller, also transparent)
6. Permanent Violet Bluish (MB)
7. Verzino Violet (MB)
8. Quinacridone Rose (Q) (or Alizarin Crimson, WN)
9. Cadmium Red (WN) (or Tiziano Red, WN, highly transparent)
10. Orange Lake (MB)
11. Permanent Orange, PO 62 (MB or WN)
12. Hansa Yellow Medium (Daniel Smith) (or most brands carry a Hansa yellow)

- Watercolor Brushes I use two brushes consistently:
1. Stephen Quiller #7010 1½ inch flat
2. #10 ISABEY KOLINSKY
I often also use the Robert Simmons Angle Shader: RSE57-1 A one inch angle brush, I use often. (Cheap JoeÕs)
- Watercolor Paper---------2 full size (22Ó x 30Ó) sheets 140lb or 300lb Arches Cold Press watercolor paper
- Photo References of pictures you would like to ÒcopyÓ (florals or landscapes) (copying is good for learning only)
- Toothbrush, masking fluid, one marble, one small old cheap small round brush to ruin, soap in a plastic dish
- Hairdryer, 2 Water containers, & paper towels (Viva is the BEST!)
- Spray bottle for spraying water onto painting (a very very clean hairspray bottle is good)
- Bath sized old towel
- Watercolor tape (white) OR Blue painters tape (Walmart in the paint section)
- 1/8th inch thick plexiglas (size 24Ó x 17Ó) Hemm Glass can make this for you J
