Getting Started with Your Family Tree
Want to research or document your family history, but don’t know how to start? This class is for you! Learn the basics of documenting your history, discuss paper and computer based options, learn about easy resources to help speed your research. Students will get a hands-on start to the process.

Using a Computer for Genealogy
There are many ways to use your computer to document and research your family history. Come see demonstrations of popular software and get hands-on experience searching available resources. Students will receive a disk of useful tools and information to help them at home.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION AND FORM:
Register early! Classes that don't reach minimum requirements may be
canceled. You may register for classes with a staff member by telephone at
(937) 339-0457. The registration form can be faxed to 335-6373 or send
registration information by e-mail to troyhaynercenter@troyhayner.org.
(You may also register online, but payment must be received by mail
in order
to officially register you for the course.)
Payment must be received to guarantee spot in class. Payment is due one week
prior to the first class meeting. Your payment is your guarantee to hold a
spot in a class. Payment can be made by check or money order made payable in
the instructor's name or cash. Partial financial assistance is available for
children's classes. Please call to receive a Keller Memorial Fund form.
